Vostok New Ventures invests another $2.5 mln in online travel service OneTwoTrip

MOSCOW. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Swedish Vostok New Ventures (VNV, formerly Vostok Nafta) invested another $2.5 million in the OneTwoTrip online travel booking service in August, according to fund materials.

It has now invested $6.5 million in OneTwoTrip, including the $4 million invested in July 2015 (when the company was valued at $65.6 million).

VNV did not specify the new size of its stake in OneTwoTrip, which amounted to 6.1% as of the end of June. Based on the previous valuation, the stake may now amount to 9.9%.

OneTwoTrip was created in 2011. The company currently operates on the travel markets in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Germany, Spain, the UK, Ireland and the U.S. Its website and mobile app are currently visited by 2 million people each month, a company representative said.
