Eurasian Bank expands management board to five members
ALMATY. Aug 23 (Interfax) - Eurasian Bank's Board of Directors decided to expand the management board to five members, the bank said in a press release.
The directors of the bank appointed Alexander Kostyan first deputy CEO from August 23. He will be in charge of corporate business and SME-related matters, the press release says.
Kostyan previously worked as a top manager at VTB Group for eight years.
The new management board comprises Michael Eggleton (chairman of the management board), Alexander Kostyan (first deputy chairman), Anna Bichurina, Nurbek Ayazbayev and Yusuf Aslan (all deputy chairpersons).
Eurasia Bank was ranked 9th by assets in January-June 2016 among the 35 second-tier banks operating in Kazakhstan, according to the country's National Bank.
