N. Korea to respond with nuclear strike to possible provocations as part of U.S.-S. Korea joint drills - ambassador to Russia

MOSCOW. Aug 23 (Interfax) - The North Korean armed forces are put on high combat alert due to the ongoing U.S.-South Korean Ulchi Freedom Guardian exercises and are ready to give a nuclear response to probable provocations during these drills, North Korean Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyung-joon said in an interview with Interfax on Tuesday.
