Baiterek Holding agrees with Chinese and international financial institutions on cooperation
ALMATY. Sept 2 (Interfax) - CEO of Kazakhstan's Baiterek National Holding Erbolat Dosayev met with top managers of Chinese and international financial institutions in Beijing.
"Erbolat Dosayev met with CITIC Group China chairman Wang Jun to reaffirm the intention to continue cooperation in joint industrial and infrastructure projects within the Nurly Zhol program and the updated program of industrial-innovative development," Baiterek said.
Dosayev also met with Executive Vice President of the State Development Bank of China Ding Xiangqun to talk about the increase in funding for Nurly Zhol projects through a partner-bank, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, and a more extensive exchange of expertise through joint training and seminars, Baiterek said.
Dosayev agreed with Vice President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (ABII) DJ Pandiani to intensify the work on the exchange of information and search for new investment opportunities to co-finance priority infrastructure projects in energy, transport and food processing.
In addition, Dosayev had at a meeting with Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China Liangbo Huang to discuss possibilities of financing investment projects through new Baiterek instruments, including a corporate guarantee.
Baiterek manages the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, Investment Fund of Kazakhstan JSC, Zhilstroisberbank JSC (Housing Construction Savings Bank), Kazakhstan Mortgage Company JSC, KazExportGrant JSC, DAMU Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC, National Agency for Technical Development JSC, Mortgage Loan Guarantee Fund of Kazakhstan JSC, Kazyna Capital Management JSC, and Distressed Assets Fund JSC.
