Putin urges Pyongyang, Seoul to resume joint trilateral projects

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on the North Korean and South Korean authorities to resume joint trilateral projects.

"We should also make efforts to develop cooperation where it is possible," Putin said at a plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on Saturday.

Putin referred to the South Korean president's remarks on trilateral plans that are significant to the region, particularly those related to the development of the transport and railroad infrastructure and joint energy projects.

"I believe we should do all we can to resume these joint projects," he said.
