Putin: Integration in Eurasia must develop on equitable basis, Russia willing to consider any relevant ideas
VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Integration in Eurasia should be developing with the interests of all parties taken into consideration and without anyone's diktat, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Efficient integration can be built only based on equitability of all parties concerned, respect, and consideration of mutual interests and without any political or economic diktat," Putin said at a plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on Saturday.
Integration implies rules remaining valid for a long time and openness to cooperation with other countries and associations in the east and in the west, he said.
"We, on our part, are willing to thoroughly consider any reciprocal ideas and jointly look for optimal solutions with everyone who is interested in such cooperation," Putin said.
