Russia Services PMI drops to 53.5 in August, remains in positive growth territory - Markit
MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The Russia Services PMI fell back to 53.5 points in August from the 41-month high of 55 points recorded in July, Markit survey data show.
The Russia Composite Output Index, which tracks activity in both the services and manufacturing sectors, declined to 52.9 in August from 53.5 in July.
Despite the declines, both indexes remained in positive growth territory.
Index readings above 50.0 points indicate growth in business activity, while those of less than 50.0 show a decline.
