Belarusian defense industry ready to participate in fulfillment of Russian defense contract - Defense Minister
KUBINKA, Moscow region. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Belarusian companies together with their Russian counterparts are ready to fulfill the Russian state defense contract, Belarusian Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Andrei Ravkov said.
"Considering the existing potential one can easily speak of the readiness of Belarusian defense sector facilities for full-scale involvement in the fulfillment of orders of Russia's state defense contract together with the defense industry facilities of our Russian colleagues," Ravkov said at Army 2016 forum.
He said the R&D and production capabilities of Russia and Belarus should be used wider for developing new types of armaments, military and special vehicles in the framework of state programs.
"The Army 2016 forum is one of the most significant events among arms and military equipment shows in the world with a leading program in scale and eventfulness," the general said.
