Ukrainian military report 24 ceasefire breaches in Donbas
KYIV. Sept 9 (Interfax) - Ukrainian military positions in Donbas came under fire 24 times in the past 24 hours, the press service for the military operation said on Facebook.
According to the report, 11 ceasefire breaches were registered on the Mariupol track, seven on the Donetsk track, and six on the Luhansk track.
On the Mariupol track, fire was opened using 82mm and 120mm-caliber mortars on Shyrokyne, Talakovka and Vodyane.
On the Donetsk track, fire was opened using small arms, machineguns and grenade launchers on Avdiivka, Verkhnetoretske and Novgorodske.
On the Luhansk track, sniper activity was registered in the Popasna and Novoaleksandrovka areas. Fire was opened on Novoaleksandrovka and Novozvanovka using small arms, machineguns and grenade launchers.
Additionally, eight instances of drone use were registered.
