Medvedev congratulates Tajik PM on 25th anniversary of national independence
MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Further development of multifaceted cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan is fully in the interests of the two countries, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said in a greeting telegram he sent to the head of Tajik government, Kohir Rasulzoda, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the country's independence.
The text of the telegram was published on the government website on Friday.
"The Russia-Tajikistan relations are traditionally friendly and of partnership nature. I am confident that further development of multifaceted bilateral cooperation, realization of mutually lucrative joint projects in the areas of trade, economy, investment, culture, humanitarian programs and others, is fully in the interests of our countries," according to the website.
In the telegram, Medvedev wished Rasulzoda new achievements in his work and wished Tajik people well-being and prosperity.
