Russian deputy foreign minister, U.S. ambassador discuss agreements on Syria

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and United States Ambassador in Moscow John Tefft have discussed issues concerning the Syrian crisis.

"The meeting focused on issues concerning the Syrian conflict settlement, including in the context of the Russian-U.S. agreements, in effect from September 12 this year, to reinforce the cessation of hostilities, resolve the humanitarian problems and launch a comprehensive political process in that country," the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The diplomats also discussed the situation in Yemen, Libya and the Middle East peace process.
