Russneft boosts charter capital 10% to 196.1 mln rubles

MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - Russneft in the course of its second supplementary issue of shares in recent months boosted charter capital 10% to 180.392 billion rubles from 196.076 billion rubles, according to the SPARK-Interfax database.

The supplementary issue consisted of 1 ordinary and 15.683 million preferred, 1,000-ruble shares, according to the National Settlement Depository. Post-placement, Russneft's charter capital consists of 147.060 million ordinary and 49.016 million preferred shares (24.998% of the total).

The Central Bank registered the results of the supplementary issue on August 30. The new information on Russneft charter capital entered into the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities on September 12 confirms that the company has completed the supplementary share issue.

Russneft's principle shareholders are companies controlled by Mikhail Gutseriev and members of his family, as well as Swiss trader Glencore. The company plans to offer 10% of its shares on the Moscow Exchange in the fourth quarter with the aim of raising $400 million-$500 million, which it plans to use to pay off debt.
