Aleppo shelled 15 times in past 24 hrs, 4 civilians killed - Russian Defense Ministry
MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax-AVN) - Shelling of the districts of the city of Aleppo continue, four civilians were killed on Wednesday, the representative of the Russian Center for reconciliation of opposing sides Col. Sergei Kopytsin said during a video conference in the Russian National Defense Management Center.
"Eleven shellings were recorded since today morning. A total of 15 shelling of civilian quarters and positions of the government forces were recorded in the past 24 hours. A shelling of the Ramouseh quarter had the direst consequences, four civilians were killed and three were injured in it," he said.
He said that the militants shelled the quarters of 1070, Ramouseh, Leraman, Dar al-Muallamin, Hai al-Ansari, al-Zagra, the vicinity of the Castello shopping mall, gas and cement plants, weapons school, military academy, the Castello road checkpoint.
