United Russia wins State Duma election in Russian internal republic of Altai
GORNO-ALTAISK. Sept 19 (Interfax) - With all ballots counted, the United Russia party won 48.5% of votes at the State Duma election in Russia's internal republic of Altai, the press service of the regional government told Interfax.
"United Russia won at the State Duma election in the republic of Altai. According to preliminary information, 48.5% of voters supported the party after all ballots were counted. The Communist Party came second with 18.85%," the press service said.
The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia came the third with 13.23%. The Rodina party also mastered the 5% threshold with 5.82% of votes.
A Just Russia won 3.75%, the Communist of Russia party - 2.65%, the Russian Party of Pensioners for Justice - 1.39%, the Parnas party - 0.97%, the Yabloko party - 0.83%, the Patriots of Russia party - 0.65%, the Green party - 0.57%, the Party of Growth - 0.54%, the Civil Force party - 0.14% and the Civil Platform party - 0.11%.
