Lavrov meets with BRICS foreign ministers on UN General Assembly sidelines
NEW YORK. Sept 20 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is taking part in the already traditional ministerial meeting of the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) on the UN General Assembly sidelines.
The talks are underway at the New York Waldorf Astoria hotel. According to the delegations' reports, the parties will focus on discussing various issues of global politics and economy.
As earlier reported, the Indian foreign minister plans to inform his colleagues about the preparation to the union's summit in Goa in October.
