Pharmacy Chain 36.6 decides to develop pharmacies in regions
MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - PJSC Pharmacy Chain 36.6 has decided to develop its retail chain not only in the Moscow region, but also in other Russian regions, board chairman Ivan Saganelidze said during a press conference at Interfax's central office.
"Our development is forging ahead, and we have decided to go to the regions, to start actively developing the chain in regions," he said.
It is planned to develop the pharmacy chain in regions mainly due to organic growth and mainly under the Gorzdrav brand, board member Temur Shakaya said.
Pharmacy Chain 36.6 is currently represented in Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. The company has about 1,740 pharmacies, of which 120 pharmacies are located in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region.
"We, naturally, will not stop at these regions. We have bigger plans," Saganelidze said, not specifying the concrete regions that the company plans to enter. He said that logistics and personnel potential will be decisive factors in the selection of regions.
A Pharmacy Chain 36.6 representative said that in October it is planned to open 14 Gorzdrav pharmacies in Nizhny Novgorod.
