Mikhail Fradkov to be nominated as chairman of RZD board of directors
MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - Mikhail Fradkov could head up the board of directors at Russian Railways (RZD, MOEX: RZHD) in the very near future, the Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Putin discussed future work with Fradkov, and very soon he will be nominated as chairman of the RZD board of directors," Peskov said.
At a meeting with Sergei Naryshkin and Fradkov, the head of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), President Vladimir Putin offered Naryshkin to head up the SVR.
Currently, the RZD board is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.
