Nearly 14,000 conscripts to be called up to Ukrainian army in next two months - Cabinet directive

KYIV. Sept 26 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Cabinet has approved the number of Ukrainian conscripts to be called up to military service in October-November 2016 at 13,908 people, and allocated 41.6 million hryvni for this purpose.

Of this number, 7,908 will be sent to the Armed Forces; 5,000 to the National Guard; and 1,000 to the State Special Service for Transport, according to a directive published on the government's website on Monday.

The Cabinet has allocated 41.6 million hryvni for the campaign.

Spending per conscript is 2,993.13 hryvni.
