IPRM meeting takes place on border of S. Ossetia, Georgia

TSKHINVAL. Sept 28 (Interfax) - The 70th meeting of the working groups in the format of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) is taking place in the village of Ergneti, bordering South Ossetia, on Wednesday.

"As a rule, the issues of illegal border crossing and the matters of illegal development of certain sectors of the territory are being discussed in the format of the IRPM. The delegations will also discuss the subjects of the situation on the state border, as well as the situation regarding the territories near the border and its crossing, during the meeting on Thursday," the South Ossetian presidential envoy's office told Interfax.

Representatives of South Ossetia, Russia, Georgia, as well as from the European Union Monitoring Mission to Georgia and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, are participating in the meeting.

The South Ossetian delegation is headed by the presidential state advisor David Sanakoyev.
