DPR Defense Ministry promises to begin withdrawal of troops, weapons near village of Petrovske on Saturday
MOSCOW. Sept 29 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) will begin withdrawing forces and equipment in the area of the village of Petrovske in the morning of October 1, the Donetsk News Agency reported, citing Eduard Basurin, a senior official with the DPR Defense Ministry.
"The separation of forces and equipment in the area of the village of Petrovske will begin around 11:00 a.m. on October 1," Basurin said on Thursday.
The withdrawal process will be monitored by officers from the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) and representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM).
Basurin said mine clearance in the territory of the village will begin on October 4.
