OSCE SMM cites readiness for monitoring in Petrovske, but presence of mines prevents it
KYIV. Oct 3 (Interfax) - The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) again says it is ready for monitoring in the areas of Petrovske and Bohdanivka, Donetsk region, but the presence of mines remains an obstacle.
"No security guarantees for SMM in 'DPR'-ctrl Petrivske & govt-ctrl Bohdanivka - presence of mines. SMM ready/able to monitor, but prevented," the OSCE SMM said on Twitter on Monday.
The SMM previously stated the presence of mines in Petrovske.
The separation of forces in the village of Petrovske is scheduled for Monday.
