Russian, N. Korean diplomats discuss Korean peninsula situation

MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov received North Korean Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyun Jun on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

"The parties exchanged opinions on topical problems of bilateral relations, as well as the situation surrounding the Korean peninsula," the ministry said in a statement.
