LPR accuses Kyiv of non-fulfillment of obligations in withdrawal of forces in Stanytsia Luhanska

STANYTSIA LUHANSKA. Oct 13 (Interfax) - Vladislav Deinego, the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) envoy to the Contact Group on settlement of the Donbas conflict, said that the Ukrainian side stated its readiness for withdrawal of forces and equipment from the contact line near Stanytsia Luhanska during a videoconference on October 11.

"Another attempt to withdraw forces and equipment on the bridge near Stanytsia Luhanska was disrupted today, on October 13. The Ukrainian side had assured that it is ready to commence withdrawal on October 13 during the videoconference on [October] 11. However, we see that they deceived us again," Deinego told reporters on Thursday.

"This situation will occur repeatedly," he said.

"Unfortunately, there is no certainty that Ukraine is capable of controlling its forces on the other side and really ready to commence fulfilling the obligations defined by the framework decision of September 21," he said.

The LPR reports to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) its readiness to withdraw forces in Stanytsia Luhanska daily, he said.

"During this time, the Ukrainian side never confirmed its readiness and intent to actually fulfill the obligations it assumed in Minsk," he said.

"Today we will give notice of readiness [to withdraw forces] for tomorrow, we do it regularly, every day starting from [October] 6. We will continue further to give notice of our readiness. We assumed the obligations to perform withdrawal in three areas and we will seek implementation of the framework decision," Deinego said.

The LPR people's militia told Interfax earlier that the Ukrainian side has disrupted another attempt to withdraw forces in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska.
