Putin, Erdogan discuss possibility of supply of Russian air defense systems to Turkey in Istanbul - Peskov

YEREVAN. Oct 14 (Interfax) - The issue of military-technical cooperation between Russia and Turkey was raised at the recent meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul, the two leaders discussed the possibility of supply of various air defense elements if the Turkish side has interest in them, Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov said.

"Various air defense systems, the possibility of whose supply Russia may consider in the event of a wish of the Turkish side, were mentioned," Peskov told reporters in Yerevan, responding to a question from Interfax.
