Construction of TurkStream synched with Gazprom-Naftogaz contract expiring in 2019 - Novak

GOA, India. Oct 17 (Interfax) - The schedule for the construction of the TurkStream gas pipeline is synchronized with the expiration of the contract for transit shipment of gas through Ukraine that runs to 2019, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said.

"In accordance with the intergovernmental agreement on the Black Sea bed, the deadline for the realization of the project is December 2019. This is completely synchronized with the contract between Gazprom and [Ukraine's] Naftogaz, which is also valid until the end of 2019," Novak told reporters in Goa.
