DPR to extradite over 20 convicts to Ukraine to serve prison terms
DONETSK. Oct 19 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) will extradite to Kyiv 23 convicts who want to serve their prison terms in Ukraine, Dmitry Popov, manager of the office of the DPR human rights ombudsman, told reporters.
"Representatives of the State Penitentiary Service and the office of the human rights ombudsman will again hand over convicts to serve their prison terms in Ukraine. The handover will take place today at 1:00 p.m.," he said, adding that 23 people have expressed a wish to serve their prison terms in Ukraine.
