Rosatom planning to carry out procurements in sum of about 800 bln rubles in 2017
MOSCOW. Oct 19 (Interfax) - Rosatom is planning to carry out procurements in the amount of approximately 800 billion rubles in 2017, Rosatom director of procurements Roman Zimonas said during a presentation at the Atomex 2016 forum.
According to the presentation, before the end of 2016, the volume of competitive procurements of the state corporation is expected in the amount of more than 467 billion rubles. It was reported early that Rosatom forecast procurements at 734 billion rubles in 2016.
Rosatom's procurements in 2015 were 622.4 billion rubles.
Speaking at the forum, Zimonas enumerated several areas for improving Rosatom's procurement procedures: the typification of requirements for procured equipment and a single technology policy, control over the quality of design specifications and estimates for all interim stages, the formulation of a single task for all branches in the framework of the procurement process, and also the selection of suppliers. Now, the Rosatom executive said, it is enough to tell the tender participant that it must supply high-quality products, but for the nuclear sector this in not enough: the prequalification of suppliers is needed, their audit. In the first place this concerns critically important products, which affect people's safety or timeframes for handing over the object, which are produced by a limited number of manufacturers, Zimonas said in an article in the Atomex journal.
