No Russians among Cameroon train crash victims - Russian Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has expressed condolences over a train crash in Cameroon and noted that no Russians were hurt in the accident.
"According to the information at the Russian Embassy in Yaounde, there are no Russian citizens among the crash victims," the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department of Information and Press said in a commentary posted on the ministry's website.
"Moscow expresses sincere condolences to the relatives and loved ones of those killed and wishes of swift recovery to the injured," the commentary said.
"Preliminary data suggests the train crash near the town of Eseka in the central part of the Republic of Cameroon on October 21 left more than 70 people dead and over 600 injured," the ministry said.
