X5 boosts revenue 28.8% since start of Oct
MOSCOW. Oct 27 (Interfax) - X5 Retail Group has boosted revenue by 28.8% year-on-year in the first 26 days of October, X5 International Relations Director Maxim Novikov said at an Investor Day on Thursday in Moscow.
He said that sales at convenience stores Pyaterochka increased by 34% while sales from the supermarket Perekrestok grew by 19.9% and the Karusel hypermarket by 7.6%.
In September, revenue grew by 30.4%, however the company does not reveal the absolute figure of sales by month. Pyaterochka increased revenue by 35.4% last month. Supermarkets revenue grew by 19.4% while hypermarkets revenue grew by 13.3% in September.
In Q3 the company's retail revenue grew by 30.2% to 253.98 billion rubles.
