DPR reports almost 200 shells fired on its territory

MOSCOW. Nov 11 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian army fired 183 artillery shells and mines on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) on Thursday evening and during the night, the Donetsk news agency said on Friday referring to a source in DPR security agencies.

"Over the period from 6 p.m. till midnight, the Ukrainian side shelled the Trudovske, Oleksandrivka and Staromykhailivka neighborhoods on the western outskirts of Donetsk, and the Yasynuvata industrial zone also came under hostiles attack. In all, 183 122mm artillery projectiles and 82mm and 120mm mortar mines were fired from Ukrainian army positions," the source said.

Infantry combat vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms were employed in Ukrainian army attacks, the source said.

There is no information about casualties or damage as of yet.

The DPR saw 900 violations of the truce the day before, one serviceman was killed and another one was wounded.
