Medvedev arrives with visit to Palestine, negotiations with Abbas to be held in Jericho

JERICHO. Nov 11 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Jericho on Friday to hold negotiations with State of Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Russian prime minister went to Palestine following his visit to Israel, the last event of which was attending the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial.

Medvedev and Abbas are expected to exchange opinions on the existing situation in the Middle East, the Russian governmental press service said.
