Russia has potential to export half a million automobiles a year - Dvorkovich

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Russia has the potential to export up to half a million automobiles per year, Deputy Russian Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said at a meeting of the State Duma's United Russia faction.

"Exports from Russia to other countries are already under way. This year we forecast we will export tens of thousands of automobile kits. I won't say exactly how many, as we won't have the report for a few days, but we'll be approaching 100,000 kits, between 70,000 and 100,000," Dvorkovich said.

"Experts say the potential for exports is roughly half a million kits a year. We'll be moving gradually towards that in the years to come, and this is absolutely realistic," he said.
