Several EU countries already agreed to liberalization of visa regime with Armenia - European Commissioner
YEREVAN. Nov 17 (Interfax) - Armenia and the European Union are conducting negotiations on a visa regime, European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn said.
"Despite [the fact] that several EU countries have already agreed to liberalization of the visa regime with Armenia, approval of all 28 EU member countries is still needed," Hahn said at a press conference in Yerevan.
The eighth informal ministerial meeting of the Eastern Partnership countries took place in Yerevan on Thursday.
Armenia and the EU are also holding negotiations on a new framework agreement on cooperation.
