Russia interested in developing ties with Ukraine, building partnership with its interests observed - concept of foreign policy
MOSCOW. Dec 1 (Interfax) - It is in the interests of Russia to develop diversified ties with Ukraine based on mutual respect and with its own interests honored, the Concept of the Russian Foreign Policy, which was approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin's decree on November 30, said.
"The Russian Federation is interested in developing the whole diversity of political, economic, cultural and spiritual ties with Ukraine based on mutual respect, building partnership relations with its national interests observed," the text of the Concept, which was published on the official online legal information portal on Thursday, said.
Assistance in building Abkhazia and South Ossetia as modern democratic countries, bolstering their international positions, ensuring their reliable security and socio-economic revival remain on the list of Russian priorities, the document also said.
