Nordgold studying conditions on Sukhoi Log, to make decision on deadline for submitting bids

MOSCOW. Dec 2 (Interfax) - Nordgold is studying the terms of the auction for the Sukhoi Log field, it will make a decision on the deadline for submitting bids, a company spokesperson told Interfax.

Nordgold's beneficiary with a 90.73% stake is Alexei Mordashov, however the company itself is registered in Great Britain. Therefore, as follows from the auction terms, Nordgold will have to bring in the state or a state company as a partner for participating in trading.

For now only there is only one known joint venture between a gold miner and a state company - PJSC Polyus (51%) and Rostec (49%).
