Russian fishermen boost fish catch by 4.6% to 4.3 mln tonnes since start of year - fisheries agency

MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Russian fishermen have increased their fish catch by 4.6% to 4.357 million tonnes since the start of the year as of December 7, the Federal Fisheries Agency reported.

Russian fishermen's catch in foreign waters decreased by 37,000 tonnes to 390,400 tonnes and the catch in convention areas and open waters of the Pacific Ocean decreased by 2,300 tonnes to 251,100 tonnes.
