Azerbaijan's territorial integrity to be restored - foreign minister
BAKU. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian's statement at a recent OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Hamburg was aimed at disrupting the negotiating process on settling the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs' efforts toward this, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said.
"Such statements are aimed at disrupting the negotiating process on settling the conflict and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs' efforts," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry press service quoted Mammadyarov as saying in commenting on Nalbandian's remarks.
Azerbaijan is continuing its efforts, together with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, to settle the conflict with Armenia through substantive negotiations, as is mentioned in the recent statement by the foreign ministers of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries, he said.
"We are sure that the Armenian forces will be withdrawn from the occupied Azerbaijani territories and that Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty within its internationally recognized borders will be ensured," Mammadyarov said.
