Azerbaijan and Israel sign convention on prevention of dual taxation and tax-evasion

BAKU. Dec 13 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan and Israel have signed a number of agreements on cooperation in various spheres.

The ceremony followed a bilateral meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in Baku on Tuesday, the Azerbaijani presidential website reports.

Namely, the sides signed intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in the sphere of standardization, compliance evaluation and metrology and on cooperation in agriculture and related industries.

They also signed a convention on the prevention of dual taxation with regard to income and capital and the prevention of tax-evasion, and a letter of intent on the formation of a joint intergovernmental commission of Azerbaijan and Israel.
