Russian Prosecutor General's Office intends to insist on extradition of banker Ablyazov

MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - The Russian Prosecutor General's Office will continue seeking the extradition of banker Mukhtar Ablyazov, Deputy Prosecutor General Saak Karapetyan said.

Despite the decision made by the French State Council, which reversed the decision made by this country's Justice Ministry on the extradition, we will seek his extraction," Karapetyan told reporters on Wednesday, responding to a question from Interfax.

"Ablyazov remains on the international wanted persons list, all procedures are still in force," Karapetyan said.
