Gazprom to hold Investor Day in Hong Kong, Singapore again in 2017, not London or New York
MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Gazprom will again hold an Investor Day in Hong Kong and Singapore in 2017, but not in Britain or the United States, despite having said it plans to continue annual meetings in New York.
"In 2017, we're planning to hold our key annual event, the Investor Day, in the major Asian financial centers of Hong Kong and Singapore," the Russian gas giant's deputy CEO, Andrei Kruglov, said in an interview with the company's in-house journal.
"Asian investors currently have a smaller share of Gazprom's equity capital than investors from Europe and the U.S. Gazprom continues with efforts to increase the share of investors from the Asia-Pacific region in its capital. Every year we attend major investment conferences in the region and hold individual meetings with existing and potential investors in the corporation's shares," Kruglov said.
