Glinka's Fair Aid foundation aid for Syria delivered to Hmeimim airbase - Shoigu
MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - The humanitarian aid of Yelizaveta Glinka's Fair Aid foundation has been delivered to the Hmeimim airfield, Russian Defense Minister Gen. of the Army Sergei Shoigu said.
"The aid which she wanted to deliver to Aleppo medical institutions, to those whom she promised it, has already been supplied to our Hmeimim airbase and will be handed over to its recipients shortly," Shoigu said at a conference call on Tuesday.
It has already been decided to name a Defense Ministry medical institution in Moscow after Yelizaveta Glinka, the minister also said.
"And, of course, the memory of this person should be perpetuated. And on top of that, the deeds which she has done together with us in Syria, helping civilians, children, medical institutions, should be continued," Shoigu said.
