Vnukovo passenger traffic in 2017 to be 15.5 mln-17 mln depending on conditions - Vantsev
MOSCOW. Dec 30 (Interfax) - The passenger traffic of Moscow's Vnukovo Airport in 2017 will amount to between 15.5 million and 17 million people depending on a number of issues, airport co-owner Vitaly Vantsev said live on the Rossiya-24 TV channel on Friday.
"We have two forecasts, we always make two forecasts: pessimistic, upon which the budget is built, and a second, let's say, the real one, true, with allowances. If it is pessimistic, then we are expecting 15.5 million passengers next year, but this is under the condition that everything will be as it is today," Vantsev said. "But if Egypt is opened then we will see 16.5 million, and maybe even 17 million - all this will depend on many factors. But for now, we are planning 15.5 million passengers and we precisely know, who of the airlines, and how many will transport these passengers by us and for which directions," Vantsev said.
