Kyiv reports injury of 1 serviceman in Donbas in past 24 hours

KYIV. Jan 1 (Interfax) - A soldier of the Ukrainian army was wounded in the hostilities in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Motuzyanyk said.

"None of Ukrainian servicemen was killed in the hostilities over the past day, yet one serviceman of ours suffered injury," he told a press briefing in Kyiv.

According to Motuzyanyk, the soldier was wounded in a militia attack near Zaitseve.
