Econ Ministry preparing documents for positive, negative business practices

MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - The Economic Development Ministry is drafting documents on positive and negative business practices from Russian supervisory bodies, Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin said at a meeting the president held with members of the government on Wednesday.

"An important stage here will be publication of two documents from the control and supervisory bodies. The first document will be devoted to negative practices, that is, typical violations a business commits and what that leads to. The second document is devoted to positive practices," he said, clarifying that it has in mind how to behave so as not to run afoul of the control and supervisory bodies.

"This year very major methodological work will take place. A transition toward integrated systems of risk management," he said.

In this way, regulation and compliance should not be oriented toward checking everything indiscriminately, but toward seperating according to additional data, according to an analysis of information on zones with significant risk and conducting inspections only in that area.

Negative and positive practices in turn will be devoted toward preventing measures of wrongdoing.

Oreshkin said that the meeting with the Russian president also touched upon the work of multi-purpose centers emphasizing the need to increase the quality of services and boost customer friendliness.
