Gazprom allocating significant funds for major pipeline projects in 2017 - Zubkov

MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Gazprom is allocating significant funds for three major gas pipeline projects in 2017, Viktor Zubkov, chairman of the Russian gas giant's board of directors, told reporters.

"There'll be funding for all the projects - Power of Siberia, Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream - this year, by the way. The board has reached the decision. There are substantial sums for all three projects, so everything is going to plan," he said.

Gazprom's investment program for 2017 allocates a significant amount - 285 billion rubles - to long-term financial investment.

The biggest items under that heading are TurkStream, Nord Stream 2 and Amur Gas Processing Plant, a source in the industry told Interfax.
