Tajik Foreign Ministry condemns terror attack in southern Afghanistan

DUSHANBE. Jan 13 (Interfax) - The Tajik Foreign Ministry has condemned the terror attack perpetrated in Kandahar in southern Afghanistan, which, notably, killed Afghan parliament deputies and diplomats from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

"This inhumane act is another confirmation of the need to bolster the joint irreconcilable fight against terrorism and extremism," Tajik Foreign Minister Sirodjidin Aslov said in a telegram sent to UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan following the death of Arab diplomats.

"The cruel murder of members of UAE humanitarian organizations in Kandahar, who sought to assist the people of Afghanistan, demonstrates that evil forces are waging a war on human values," the telegram said.
