Syrian truce breached 9 times in past 24 hours - Russian representatives
MOSCOW. Jan 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia has recorded nine violations of the truce in Syria in the past 24 hours, Turkey has recorded none, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Within last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered nine cases in the Hama (six) and Latakia (three) provinces. The Russian party has not received data from the Turkish side concerning ceasefire violations," the Russian reconciliation center in Syria said in a bulletin.
"In accordance with the Joint Agreement on comprehensive settlement of the Syrian conflict, a ceasefire regime has been established starting at 00:00 on December 30, 2016. The Falaq al-Sham, Jabhat Ahli al-Sham (Jaysh al-Mujahideen, Thuwar al-Sham), Firqa Sultan Murad, Jaysh Idlib, Suqour al-Sham, Falaq Rahman, Jabhat al-Shamiyah, Tadjamua Fastakin, Jaysh al-Izaa, Jaysh al-Nasr, al-Forqat al-Ula as-Sahili (1st coastal division), Jaysh al-Islam, and Liwa Shuhada al-Islam have joined the regime," according to the bulletin.
