Moldovan president pleased with outcomes of visit to Russia

CHISINAU. Jan 24 (Interfax) - Moldovan President Igor Dodon achieved the goals he had set during an official visit to Russia, Dodon said at the first press conference as president in Chisinau.

"I have set myself six goals for the first 100 days. The first one of them is to resume strategic partnership with Russia. I have paid an official visit to Moscow and I believe that I achieved the initial goals," the president said.

He said that the goals in question are lifting of restrictions against Moldovan labor migrants in Russia and resumption of export of Moldovan goods to Russia.

"The first steps in this direction were made. I believe we will achieve the goals set," Dodon said.

He said he will hold similar large-scale press conferences regularly, monthly or quarterly.

He also said that he personally considers all requests by means of social networks, calling on the citizens to make requests to him in Facebook, Odnoklassniki and other social networks.
