Poroshenko begins visit to Germany

KYIV. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko arrived in Germany on Monday for negotiations with German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Poroshenko will also meet with Parliament President Norbert Lammert, new Foreign Minister and former Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, and German businessmen, the Ukrainian Presidential Administration said on Facebook.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said earlier that Poroshenko and Merkel would meet in Berlin on Monday to discuss the implementation of the Minsk Agreements and the Donbas settlement process amongst other issues.
