Kremlin suggests that global community call on Kyiv to stop provocations in Donbas
MOSCOW. Feb 1 (Interfax) - The Kremlin said it disagrees with the wording of the OSCE report on the situation in Donbas and considers it to be provocative.
"We disagree with such wording. We are talking about provocative actions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and by specific groups," Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday, citing Ukrainian Defense Ministry reports which, according to him, "refer namely to the fact that the Ukrainian armed forces are advancing meter by meter."
"That is, offensive actions that sabotage the Minsk Agreements regime are de facto confirmed," Peskov said.
All calls by the global community should be addressed to Kyiv as the initiator of the new aggravation of the situation in southeastern Ukraine, he said.
"Now it is important that everyone should primarily urge the initiators of the offensive - Kyiv - to stop these provocations," Peskov said.
